We opened our doors in July 2023, and had a dream of creating an inviting space, serving beautiful coffee and great food.

The cafe is named after the two sausage dogs, Poppy and Pip, who occasionally visit the cafe for treats!

We love what we do (most of the time!) and take pride in creating something for our local community to enjoy.

Had breakfast here mid morning. Had the blueberry bagel and sweet potato breakfast and a couple of coffees. The food was fantastic, I would have the same again. Would recommend. Also has seating outside, great if you have your dog with you.

Our coffee

We use MRRC’s signature blend, Old Faithful, in store. Think: malt, banoffee and maple. We love this blend and we think you will too!

Old neatly meets new. The Old Faithful Blend pays homage to the coffee of old, while overlaying modern roasting philosophies.
This medium roast is as velvety as it gets. With notes of malt, banoffi and rich maple sweetness, you can enjoy it as a smooth, full-bodied flat white or straight black. Drink the Old Faithful if you like a silky smooth, easy-going start to the day.
We also offer the Caña Dulce decaf blend, which provides a coffee experience where you can savour the rich tastes of the Huila region without the caffeine. Perfect for those seeking a full-bodied, flavourful, but decaffeinated coffee option.
As well as using these beans in-store, you can purchase both the 250g and 1kg bags to keep the goodness going at home.
